Dr. Uche is the immediate past President of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria

He is a consummate banker with over 30 years’ cognate experience in Retail, Commercial and Corporate Banking. He worked with Union Bank of Nigeria Plc as Head of Corporate Banking, Energy, Oil and Gas. He also worked in United Bank for Africa Plc as Head of Energy Banking South domiciled in Port Harcourt.

He studied Banking and Finance, He is an MBA holder following which Ph.D. in Management – Organizational Behavior. His research centers on Managerial Leadership effectiveness, leveraging on Emotional Intelligence.

He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and he is also involved in social transformation and Integration activities of various foundations.
